Zvezde Granda (Grand Stars) is a hugely popular televised singing contest in Serbia organized by the Grand Production record label. Serbia (Србија Srbija) officially the Republic of Serbia (Република Србија Republika Srbija) is a Landlocked Country Grand Production (formerly ZAM is a Serbian Record label. Registered as a Limited liability company, it is owned and operated by Saša It is broadcast live on commercial television throughout the Balkans.

Airing on Pink TV in Serbia, as well as its subsidiaries Pink M and Pink BH in Montenegro and Bosnia-Herzegovina, the competition has so far been held in three seasons - 2004, 2005 and in 2007. RTV Pink is a popular TV network based in Serbia with stations in several nearby countries as well as satellite and specialty channels Pink M is a television station in Montenegro with a signal and broadcast licence that covers its entire territory Pink BH is a regional television station in Bosnia and Herzegovina and is owned by RTV Pink. Concept

The show starts with judges, folk music stars and producers, led by the owner of Grand Production, Saša Popović, picking out the contestants in the auditions.

There are 6-7 finalists (mostly three guys and three girls), who compete in the final night, when one, Grand Star, is chosen. This act is, however, purely symbolical - being the chosen Grand Star does not guarantee success. The only thing finalists get is one or two songs on Grand Stars compilation album. After that, they are pretty much left on their own, to find the way to viewer's hearts and make an album.

This formula is a success as Zvezde Granda enjoys huge popularity in Serbia and the show's ratings get better every year.

2004

Bane Mojićević with his amazing voice and vocal skill won the viewers, yet, his colleaagues Tanja Savić, Slavica Ćukteraš and Darko Filipović gained much more popularity. Slavica Ćukteraš ( Serbian Cyrillic: Славица Ћуктераш (born 28 January 1985 in Šabac, Serbia, Yugoslavia Darko Filipović ( Serbian: Дарко Филиповић is a popular Serbian Turbo-folk singer who became famous after he becoming a finalist in Tanja Savić ( Тања Савић) (born on March 20, 1985 in Radinac village near Smederevo The three of them had their first albums come out almost immediately after the finals. By this day, they have become established folk music stars in Serbia.

2005

The winner of the second season of Zvezde Granda was Milica Todorović, who is still waiting for her first album to come out. This generation of Grand Stars was arguably less successful than the first one.

2007

The Grand Star was revealed on the 15th of September at Tašmajdan Stadium. Radmila Manojlović ( Serbian: Радмила Манојловић (born August 25, 1985 in Požarevac, Serbia, SFR Yugoslavia Silvija Nedeljković ( Serbian: Силвија Недељковић (born March 26, 1984 in Belgrade, Serbia, then SFRY This time the winner Dušan Svilar is somebody with totally different approach to "Grand music". Dušan is only 17 years old but is such a talented young boy.
