Zeal Monachorum (Latin translation Cell of the Monks) is a village and civil parish in the Mid Devon district of Devon, England, about 18 miles north-west of Exeter, situated on the River Yeo. However the most famous business in the village is the Waie Inn. The Waie Inn is a Pub which also has a restaurant, swimming pool, Gym, Play Ground and an inside play area for young children. It also has a camping site and a hotel for people to stay in. There is plenty to do in Zeal Monachorum. There are many pleasant public footpaths around the Village and there are regular fetes and movie viewings at the Village hall.
