- Yed is also a slang word used in some regions of Southern England for the word yes. Ophiuchus (Ὀφιοῦχος ˌɒfiːˈuːkəs is one of the 88 Constellations and was also one of the 48 listed by Ptolemy. Delta Ophiuchi (δ Oph / δ Ophiuchi is a Star in the Constellation Ophiuchus. Epsilon Ophiuchi (ε Oph / ε Ophiuchi is a Star in the Constellation Ophiuchus. It has featured in a song by a small rap group called The Beauty and the Essence of the Bitty in a line which reads: ". . . hed hed hed, yed yed yed wit smeg. . . "
