Y Cyrff were a popular Welsh language band in the 1980s. Catatonia were a Music band from Wales who gained a national following in the United Kingdom in the mid-late 1990s Sherbet Antlers was a Welsh Rock band, formed by Mark Roberts and Paul Jones, former members of the band Catatonia, together with Y Ffyrc are a Welsh pop group comprising Mark Roberts (singer and Paul Jones who formerly played together in Y Cyrff, Catatonia and Sherbet Welsh ( cy Cymraeg or cy y Gymraeg, kəmˈrɑːɨɡ and {{IPA|[ə ɡəmˈrɑːɨɡ]}}, is a member of the Brythonic branch of Celtic The 1980s was the decade spanning from January 1 1980 to December 31 1989. They came from Llanrwst, Conwy. Conwy (formerly Conway in English is a Town in Conwy county borough on the north coast of Wales, which faces Deganwy across Their line-up included Mark Roberts (vocals and guitar), Barry Cawley (guitar), Paul Jones (bass) and Dylan Hughes (drums). Mark Roberts (born 3 November 1969, Llanrwst, Wales, UK) sang and played the Guitar during his teenage years Dylan left to join Welsh punks Anhrefn and Mark Kendall took Dylan's place. Recordiau Anhrefn ( Welsh for Anhrefn Records was a Record label established in 1983 by Rhys Mwyn. One of their popular songs is Cymru, Lloegr a Llanrwst (Wales, England and Llanrwst).
