Woodford is the terminus for the disused Kilcoy branch railway line, which extended from Caboolture to Kilcoy. Caboolture is a suburb approximately north of Brisbane, the state capital of Queensland, Australia. Kilcoy is a small farming town and the administrative centre of the Somerset Regional Council Local Government Area in South East Queensland, Between Caboolture (where it branches from the North Coast railway line, Queensland) and Wamuran, the tracks and corridor are mostly still in place. The North Coast railway line is also a railway in New South Wales, Australia. Beyond Wamuran, the railway was removed after its closure in the mid 1960s, and much of the land has been sold.
