"Wind It Up (Rewound)" is significantly different then the "Wind It Up" that was featured on Experience. Experience is the debut album by the English band The Prodigy. The B-side "We are the Ruffest" features a speed-up banjo riff. The banjo is a Stringed instrument developed by enslaved Africans in the United States, adapted from several African instruments In Music, a riff is an Ostinato figure a repeated Chord progression, pattern refrain or melodic figure, often played by the Rhythm
The Elektra version of the single in the United States was never re-released as some of the previous singles were, making it a rarity and much sought after. The United States of America —commonly referred to as the The Elektra version also exclusively contained four remixes never released on any other work by the band.
The video features the band again on tour in the United States, as in the "Everybody in the Place" video, but this time on the West Coast. This was the last Prodigy single in a British breakbeat hardcore vein as Howlett felt he needed to take the music in a new direction (see "One Love"). Breakbeat hardcore ( Rave music) is a derivate of Acid house that combines 4-to-the-floor rhythms with breakbeats and is associated with UK Rave scene " One Love " was the sixth single released by the British electronic act The Prodigy in October 1993
