Wilmore has two institutions of higher learning: Asbury College and Asbury Theological Seminary. Asbury College is a Christian Liberal arts institution located in Wilmore Kentucky. Asbury Theological Seminary is a multi-denominational graduate institution that offers a variety of master degree and postgraduate degree programs While both are named after Francis Asbury, they are separate institutions. Creation Highbridge Film Festival debuted in May 2005 as the brainchild of Asbury College Media Communications department faculty Greg Bandy Jeff Day and Jim Owens Established in 2005 (then the Asbury College Film Festival), this has been the primary showcase for student films produced by Asbury College's Media Communications students, but all entries are welcomed.
