Villingili Youth and Sports Association (VYANSA), is an association registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs / Maldives. Football club names are a part of the sport 's culture reflecting century-old traditions Dhivehi League - 2008 Teams New Radiant Victory SC Vyansa VB Sports VYANSA currently has over 1500 members, mainly from Villingili which is the fifth ward of Malé (the capital of Maldives). Overview Although Malé is geographically located in Male' Atoll Kaafu Atoll, administratively it is not considered part of it The goal of the association is to work towards the development of Maldivian Youth & Sports and to participate in the Sports in the National Level.

The football team participates in the 1st Division of the Maldivian Football league. The football team has been participating in these football tournaments for the past six seasons. During its first seasons in 2002, they participated in the 3rd Division and in 2003 they qualified to the 2nd Division. They played in the 2nd Division for four years. And they were the Champions of the 2nd Division in 2005. In 2007 they were the Runners-up of the 2nd Division and after playing the qualification round, they qualified to the 1st Division. Vyansa is the first team in Maldives to be in 1st division with in a very short period of time.
