A violin sonata is a musical composition for solo violin, which is nearly always accompanied by a piano or other keyboard instrument, or by figured bass in the Baroque period. The violin is a bowed String instrument with four strings usually tuned in Perfect fifths It is the smallest and highest-pitched member The piano is a Musical instrument played by means of a keyboard that produces sound by striking steel strings with Felt covered hammers Figured bass, or thoroughbass, is a kind of integer Musical notation used to indicate intervals, chords and Nonchord tones in relation Baroque music describes an era and a set of styles of European classical music which were in widespread use between approximately 1600 and 1750.
