Presently, Vienna International Airport has three terminals. A control tower, or more specifically an air traffic control tower is the name of the airport building from which the Air traffic control unit controls the movement of aircraft The Mainterminals 1 and 2 and a provisory terminal (1A) was built to offer more space for low-cost carriers. An airport terminal is a building at an Airport where passengers transfer between ground transportation and the facilities that allow them to board and disembark from Airplanes In 2006, the airport started building a new terminal, SKYLINK, which will make the airport more capable of dealing with higher passenger volumes (2007: 18. 9 million).
