History
As soon as the band was founded, its debut album, A Storm To Come, was released through General Schallplatten. A Storm to Come is the debut album of German A cappella Metal band Van Canto, released in 2006. It features seven original tracks, as well as cover versions of Metallica's "Battery" and "Stora Rövardansen" from the movie Ronja Rövardotter. Metallica is an American heavy metal band that formed in 1981 in. For the 1984 film see Ronia the Robber's Daughter (film. Ronia the Robber's Daughter ( Swedish Ronja Rövardotter Additionally, a video was shot for the track "The Mission" and "Battery". A video for "Rain" is also confirmed. [1] On September 30, 2007, they announced a new drummer, Bastian Emig. [1] , as Dennis Strillinger was leaving the group. In December 2007 they signed a worldwide record deal with Gun Records/Sony BMG. Also in December, they were announced as part of the line up of the Wacken 2008. Wacken Open Air (WOA is a popular German music festival focusing on various forms of Extreme metal and Heavy metal. [1] They also announced that they are working on their second album, set to be recorded in February and March 2008, with producer Charlie Bauerfeind. Charlie Bauerfeind (born Karl Rudolf Bauerfeind; May 30, 1963 in Erlangen, Germany) is a German Sound engineer and producer [1] As of March 2008, they are working on their new album, at Twilight Hall Studios.
