Ullensaker has had a relatively constant population increase the last 50 years. This increase has accelerated somewhat the last few years. From the year 2000 to 2007, the population of Ullensaker increased by almost 6 000 people. 2000 ( MM) was a Leap year that started on Saturday of the Common Era, in accordance with the Gregorian calendar. Year 2007 ( MMVII) was a Common year starting on Monday of the Gregorian calendar in the 21st century. The recent increase is partly attributable to the new airport at Gardermoen which has brought an influx of new inhabitants.
