- Sherk supposedly went into the fight injured, and sought only to take Florian down, refusing to engage on the feet, eliciting many boos throughout the fight for his inactivity. The boos let up for some time after Florian landed an elbow off his back that caused Sherk to pour fountains of blood in what many people believe was close to being stopped. Ultimately it worked in Sherk's favor, as he was bleeding directly into Florian's eyes, impairing his eyesight and leading to the referee taking a time out to clean Florian's eyes. [1]
