In the men's division, Jameel Bautista of UST made a record for being the first jin in the UAAP to bag the Most Valuable Player and Rookie of the Year honor. While Eunice Alora of DLSU and Marites R. Fernandez of ADMU shared honors for the Most Valuable Player award and Rookie of the Year award respectively.
