Arnason is the son of former NHL winger Chuck Arnason. Ernest Charles "Chuck" Arnason (born July 15, 1951 in Ashern Manitoba) is a former Canadian professional Ice hockey right wing He was born in Oklahoma City, but was raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba and attended St. John's-Ravenscourt School.
