Trouw is a Dutch daily newspaper. A newspaper is a written Publication containing News, information and Advertising, usually printed on low-cost paper called Newsprint. Trouw is a Dutch word meaning "fidelity" (cognate of the English "trow"). The Trouw was started during World War II by members of the Dutch Protestant resistance. Today, Trouw is considered a high quality newspaper in the Netherlands and is a part of the PCM group, along with NRC Handelsblad and de Volkskrant. The Netherlands ( Dutch:, ˈnedərlɑnt is the European part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which consists of the Netherlands the Netherlands NRC Handelsblad, often abbreviated to NRC, is a daily evening Newspaper published in the Netherlands by PCM Uitgevers De Volkskrant (literally "the people's paper" is a national daily Dutch morning Newspaper.
