Tom Hanneman is the current play-by-play television broadcaster for the Minnesota Timberwolves basketball team of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Minnesota Timberwolves are a professional Basketball team based in Minneapolis Minnesota, United States. He currently lives in Minneapolis with his wife. He was born in La Crosse, Wisconsin. La Crosse is a city in and the County seat of La Crosse County, Wisconsin, United States. His partner in broadcasting is Jim Peterson, a former University of Minnesota basketball player. James Scott "Jim" Peterson PC, (born July 30, 1941) is a retired Canadian Politician and former The University of Minnesota Twin Cities ( U of M or The U) is the oldest and largest part of the University of Minnesota system. Hanneman has been a team broadcaster since the Wolves were formed back in 1989. He previously worked for Minneapolis station WCCO, Channel 4, as a sportscaster.
