Geography
The forest is famous for its small lakes with red waterlilies. Nymphaea alba, also known as the European White Waterlily, White Lotus, or Nenuphar, is an aquatic flowering plant of the family Nymphaeaceae When they were discovered they provided the European varieties of red waterlilies that are in cultivation.
