The song also reached #11 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart, beginning a steady drop out of the top ten country singles chart for any of her songs until "Mississippi Girl", which reached #1 in 2005. " Mississippi Girl " is a 2005 song recorded by Country music singer Faith Hill and the lead single from her album Fireflies. The song was a big hit on the Adult Contemporary chart, staying at number one for 12 weeks. It was also popular in Canada, as it topped the singles chart in August 2001. The Canadian Singles Chart is currently compiled by the US-based music sales tracking company Nielsen SoundScan. It is Faith Hill's biggest hit single in the UK, reaching #3 on the UK Singles Chart, and is to date her only top ten single in the UK.
