Synopsis

Ray Sharkey plays Vincent Vacari, a songwriter/manager, driven by his desire to discover the next big act. Ray Sharkey ( November 14, 1952 &ndash June 11, 1993) was an American Golden Globe -winning actor After watching the band play at a local club, Vinnie approaches Tomaso DeLorusso (Paul Land), a popular and talented saxophone player, and convinces him to trade his instrument for a microphone. Paul Land (born January 31, 1956 in Hoboken, New Jersey) is an American actor who appeared in the movies Spring Break and The Following some months under Vinnie's guidance, "Tommy Dee" becomes a rock 'n' roll sensation.

Following on from his success with Tommy Dee, Vinnie prepares another act in the form of Guido (Peter Gallagher), a local busboy. Peter Killian Gallagher (born August 19, 1955) is a Golden Globe - and SAG -winning American Actor, Musician Busboys or busgirls' or SA, increasingly referred to as bussers, workin the Restaurant and Catering industry clearing With even more gusto and singlemindedness, Vinnie embarks on a destructive journey to control every aspect of his new act's image.
