The BK Baguette line is a line of chicken sandwiches and hamburgers sold by the international fast-food restaurant chain Burger King The 1980s was the decade spanning from January 1 1980 to December 31 1989. This sandwich was made with lettuce, tomato and a dill ranch sauce served on a oat dusted roll. Oats redirects here It may mean either the common cereal oat discussed here or any cultivated or wild species of the Genus Avena. In 1988, BK reformulated the BK Broiler into a larger, more male-oriented sandwich served on a Whopper bun, increasing its patty size while changing the ingredients to mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato. The Whopper Sandwich is the signature product sold by the international fast-food restaurant chain Burger King in the global market In 2002, BK changed the name of the sandwich to Chicken Whopper and added a smaller Chicken Whopper Jr. sandwich[5][6].

In 2004, BK introduced its BK Baguette line of sandwiches that replaced the Chicken Whopper. The BK Baguette line is a line of chicken sandwiches and hamburgers sold by the international fast-food restaurant chain Burger King [7] The Chicken Baguette line was intended as a new health conscious oriented product that got its taste from ingredients instead of fat.

While discontinued in the US the sandwich is still sold in parts of the European and Australian markets.

In 2005, BK again reformulated its broiled chicken sandwich to the current TenderGrill chicken sandwich. [8] In November, 2007 the sandwich was slightly reformulated again, replacing the honey mustard with mayonnaise.
