Tammin Sursok was born on 19 August 1983 in Johannesburg, South Africa, and at the age of 4, she emigrated to Sydney, Australia with her family. In 2000, Sursok began her role as Dani Sutherland on Home and Away. Danielle 'Dani' Sutherland was a Fictional character in the Australian Soap opera Home and Away, portrayed from 2000 In 2001, she was nominated for, and won the Logie Award for Best New Female Talent category. In early 2004, Sursok began recording material for her debut album Whatever Will Be. Whatever Will Be is the debut album of Australian pop act Tammin. Travelling across the globe, she worked with high profile producers responsible for churning out hits for some of the music industry's biggest names including Britney Spears, Dido and Christina Aguilera. In August of 2005, Sursok temporarily relocated to the UK and made preparations for Pointless Relationship, to be released as her international debut. Apart from her role as Colleen on Y&R, Sursok will be appearing in a musical called Spectacular! Spectacular!. The musical is a fairly typical, all-American story, although it will be shot in Vancouver, Canada, and is about a very preppy high school student, Courtney (Sursok), who is part of the school's Spectacular! choir. Personal life
Sursok has a pet Parrot, and two dogs, Smudge and Harry. Sursok moved to USA in February 2006 to pursue an acting career. Sursok is signed with the famous Gersh agency in Los Angeles.
