A short film produced cooperatively by the Intrepid and Hidden Frontier teams, featuring both crews and the villains from Star Trek: Odyssey. The USS Intrepid and the USS Excelsior are assigned to investigate a remote Romulan planet where the Archeins left a significant amount of technology, including automated defense satellites. The set was visited mid-production by Eugene Roddenberry, Jr. , son of Gene Roddenberry, who expressed his support for Star Trek fan productions. ^[18]

[Star Trek: Operation Beta Shield]

A full-length feature, currently in production by the teams behind Intrepid and Hidden Frontier. It is a sequel to Orphans of War and will be the basis of a new Hidden Frontier spin-off series called Star Trek: Federation One. Operation: Beta Shield picks up halfway through Odyssey and Helena Chronicles season 1. The refitted starship Excelsior is being assigned to the Beta Quadrant under the command of Elizabeth Shelby on a critical mission. The Archein's may be planning another wormhole invasion of Romulan space and the Beta Quadrant is vulnerable! Meanwhile Klingon General Korg is on a top secret mission on Romulus when an attempt is made on his life! Something must be done to shore up allied defenses against the Archein threat. Shelby leads an allied fleet to the Kovalis System where signs of wormhole formation have been detected. A spin-off of Star Trek: Hidden Frontier. Star Trek: Federation One will be a four-part mini-series focusing on the President of the United Federation of Planets and their entourage aboard the Federation's diplomatic flagship, Federation One.
