The three campuses were originally known as Florissant Valley Community College, Forest Park Community College, and Meramec Community College. The name change to St. Louis Community College–Campus Name was adopted by college district administration over the objections of the student body and faculty in 1976. STLCC-Florissant Valley

The school is also known as Florissant Valley Community College or simply Flo Valley. The campus is located on 108 acres of hilly wooded area of in north St. Louis County just off of Interstate 270. St Louis County is a County located in the US state of Missouri. Interstate 270 (abbreviated I-270) makes up a large portion of the outer belt Freeway in the St Over 6,000 students attend Florissant Valley.

Notable Programs

FV is the major Art and Theatre campus in the STLCC system. Students can get Associate in Applied Science (AAS)Degrees in Graphic Communications or Associate in Fine Arts (AFA) Degrees in in General Fine Arts, Graphic Communications, Art Education and Photography. Students also have the option of starting a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree then transferring to University of Missouri-St. Louis. The University of Missouri–St Louis ( UMSL, pronounced "uhm-suhl" is one of four universities in the University of Missouri System. The Fischer Theatre serves as the hub of the Theatre program at FVCC. The camus is also known for engineering, technology, and chemical technology programs.

FV Athletics

Florissant Valley fields 9 sports and compete in the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC). FVCC holds 13 NJCAA Championships, 10 of which are in Men's soccer. STLCC-Forest Park

The Forest Park campus is an urban campus with about 6,000 students. Baseball is a Bat-and-ball Sport played between two teams of nine players each Basketball is a team Sport in which two teams of five active players each try to score points against one another by propelling a ball through a 10 feet (3 m Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a Team sport played between two teams of eleven players and is widely considered Basketball is a team Sport in which two teams of five active players each try to score points against one another by propelling a ball through a 10 feet (3 m Association football, more commonly known as football or soccer, is a Team sport played between two teams of eleven players and is widely considered Softball is a team Sport popular especially in the United States. STLCC-FP is known for health care. MetroLink is the Light rail transit system in the Greater St Louis area of Missouri and Illinois. Forest Park-DeBaliviere is a St Louis MetroLink station located at the northeast corner of Forest Park Parkway and DeBaliviere Avenue in St Central West End is a St Louis MetroLink Station located in the Central West End at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Children's Place Major programs at FP include Associate in Applied Science Degrees including: Radiologic Technology, Dental Hygiene, Dental Assisting, Respiratory Therapy and Polysomnography, and Clinical Laboratory Technology. Forest Park also has a number of construction related degrees including: Automotive Technology, Building Inspection & Code Enforcement Technology, Plumbing Design Engineering Technology, and Fire Protection Technology.

STLCC-Meramec campus is located in the suburb of Kirkwood, MO. Meramec has many programs of study and offers a wide variety of Associate degrees, some of the most popular being Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, and Education. Meramec also has an extensive Horticulture program; the gardens and greenhouses can be seen on the southwestern part of campus from Big Bend Blvd. [5]

Meramec Athletics filed 9 teams (not including co-ed cheerleading), 8 teams compete in the Midwest Community College Athletic Conference (MCCAC). Men's Roller Hockey fields two teams in the Division III and B Division (JV) of Great Plains Collegiate Inline Hockey League part of the NCRHA The teams biggest rivalry is St. Charles Community College, as the two schools are separated only by a 15-20 minute drive. The STLCC-Wildwood campus is the newest campus in the STLCC system. Wildwood currently offers Associate degrees in three areas of study: General Transfer Studies, Business Administration, and Teaching. Beginning in the Spring 2008 semester UM-St Louis will offer classes at Wildwood for students to begin taking classes at Wildwood and then make an easy transfer after the second year into the main UMSL campus.
