Splash Plastic is a Prepaid credit card devised in the United Kingdom by PrePay Technologies Limited. A stored-value card represents Money on deposit with the Issuer, and is similar to a Debit card. As of March 2006, a new card will be eventually replace all current Splash Plastic cards. Year 2006 ( MMVI) was a Common year starting on Sunday of the Gregorian calendar. It is called the "360money Splash Plastic card" which lets the cardholder shop at many more places because of the Maestro symbol on the card. Maestro is an international Debit card service owned by MasterCard. The original Splash Plastic service will run until 30 April 2006. Ukash is a cash payment method launched in the United Kingdom, Europe and South Africa for those who wish to shop online The card does not come with any tariffs just pay as you go like the original card. The card can now be used at ATMs and Chip and Pin merchants. The card is Maestro and can be accepted at any Maestro and Switch/Solo merchants.
