Synopsis

The lead human character is Joe Carraclough, who (at the beginning of the film) joins the RAF during World War II. World War II, or the Second World War, (often abbreviated WWII) was a global military conflict which involved a majority of the world's nations, including When he leaves for RAF training school, he is forced to leave behind his dog Lassie and her pup, Laddie. Laddie follows Joe to his training school and stows away on his plane, just as they embark on a dangerous mission. They are shot down over enemy territory, and the majority of the film is of the two surviving on the run from enemy forces.
