Slough Independents - Citizendia

Slough Independents was the Slough name for Slough members of a registered political party PPPILA. PPPILA is a registered political party formed in Slough England in April 2006 It contested the Slough Council election 2006. Elections to Slough Borough Council were held on 4 May 2006. One third of the council was up for election

The leading figure and election agent for the group is Paul Janik (formerly of Independent Britwellian Residents political party in Britwell); Chairman of Slough Independents from 2005. Britwellian is the name chosen by two local political groups which have contested elections in the three member Britwell Ward of Slough Borough Council. The place now known as the Britwell Estate was originally farm land

For the Slough Council elections 2007 the Slough Independents name was replaced by The Slough Party name. The Slough Party is the new brand name for election campaigning in the borough of Slough England by registered political party PPPILA.
