Slamboree was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event from World Championship Wrestling held from 1993 through 2000 that was held in the month of May. Professional wrestling, or pro wrestling, is a non-competitive professional Sport, where all matches are scripted by the promotion's booking staff Pay-per-view (often abbreviated PPV) is the system in which Television viewers can purchase events to be seen on TV and pay for the private telecast of that event It was originally billed "The Legends' Reunion" because many retired legends from Jim Crockett Promotions would attend the PPV and other events scheduled for that weekend. Jim Crockett Promotions was a Professional wrestling promotion owned by Jim Crockett Jr The first three Slamborees saw inductions into the WCW Hall of Fame during the PPV. The WCW Hall of Fame was established in 1993 to honor some of the wrestling greats of the past (most of them appearing in the NWA and Jim Crockett Promotions before They also included matches with the legends participating.
