Sinergy is a power metal supergroup from Finland, formed in an effort to present a "balls-out female-fronted metal band" to the world, by American vocalist Kimberly Goss, who was keyboarding for Dimmu Borgir at the time, and In Flames lead guitarist Jesper Strömblad in 1998. Shortly after this, Kimberly relocated to Finland, making recording with her Swedish bandmates somewhat difficult.
