Simpang Renggam is a town in Kluang district of Johor, Malaysia. Kluang is a town and district located roughly in the middle of the state of Johor in Malaysia. Johor (alt English spelling Johore, Jawi scriptجوهر is a state of Malaysia between 1°20"N and 2°35"N For the biogeographical region see Malesia Malaysia (məˈleɪʒə or /məˈleɪziə/ is a country that consists of thirteen states and It lies on the old main trunk road that used to take the majority of the North-South traffic going through Johor before the opening of the North-South Expressway. The North-South Expressway (NSE (Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan 南北大道 வடக்கு - தெற்கு நெடுஞ்சாலை is the longest expressway in Malaysia

Besides Simpang Renggam housing the 5th Battalion Royal Malaysian Police General Operation Force (Malay: Pasukan Gerakan AM PGA Batalion 5). [1] The Simpang Renggam Behavioural Rehabilitation Centre is also located in this town. It is the largest drug rehabilitation centre in the country.
