The Short-tailed Gymnure (Hylomys suillus) is a small erinaceomorph that is found in southeast Asia. Erinaceidae is the only living family in the order of the Erinaceomorpha. This gymnure, which resembles a large mouse, grows to a length of 4-6 inches, and feeds on insects, worms and other small animals. Gymnures, also called Hairy Hedgehogs or Moon Rats, are Mammals belonging to the subfamily Galericinae, in the family Erinaceidae Insects ( Class Insecta) are a major group of Arthropods and the most diverse group of Animals on the Earth with over a million described A worm is a common name given to a diverse group of invertebrate animals that have a long soft body and no legs [3]
