Plot

Ashish Khanna (Akshaye Khanna) and Rani (Ayesha Takia) are a couple who are pretty much in love with each other. He tries to stop even the slightest level of tension, by popping a pill to control his shaken nerves.

This comes to the notice of Rani’s family members who in turn try to separate them. And if that was not enough for Ashish, there is his friend Rohit who also loves Rani. Despite all this, Rani genuinely loves Ashish and sticks to him.

However, when Ashish goes to visit his doctor, he misunderstands the doctor’s diagnosis of hypertension to cancer. Hypertension, also referred to as high blood pressure, HTN or HPN, is a medical condition in which the Blood pressure is chronically elevated Cancer (medical term Malignant Neoplasm) is a class of Diseases in which a group of cells display uncontrolled Ashish’s world is turned upside down. And now before dying he decides to do the right thing. He wants the best for his love Rani, so he embarks on a plan to make Rani hate him, so that she will not have to suffer the ordeal of his death.

He now starts flirting with another lady champakali (Mallika Sherawat), who is sister to a don named Anna (Sunil Shetty). Mallika Sherawat (मल्लिका शेरावत born October 24, 1981 as Reema Lamba in Karnal, Haryana, India Sunil Shetty ( Tulu: ಸುನಿಲ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ (born 11 August 1961) is an Indian Film actor and Film producer Seeing Sania in Ashish’s arms, Rani gets dejected and dumps him.

Down hearted Rani asks her family to choose her a suitable groom. Her family chooses Rohit (Aftab Shivdasani). Aftab Shivdasani (born 25 June 1978 at Mumbai, India) is an Indian film actor And as fate would have it, Ashish realizes that he does not suffer from cancer at all. So now he has to break up Rani and Rohit's wedding.

Ashish tries to convince Rani of his true feelings as well as Anna who wants to get him killed.
