History
They were founded in 1902 as Section Paloise de Ligue Girondine and were renamed Section Paloise in 1905. They play at Stade du Hameau (capacity 15,000). Stade du Hameau is a multi-use Stadium in Pau, France. It is currently used mostly for Rugby union matches and is the home stadium of Section They wear green and white and are currently sponsored by Total.
At the end of 2004/5 Pau survived a play-off game with Aurillac and will stay in Top 14. However they were relegated the following season, and are now playing in Pro D2.
