Early life and education
Satish Kaushik was born on April 13 in Delhi, where he grew up in Naiwala gali, Karolbagh. He did his graduation from Kirori Mal College, New Delhi (1972-75). Kirori Mal College began as Nirmala College which was started by American Jesuits following the Partition of India.
He graduated from National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi in 1978 and later studied at Film and Television Institute of India Pune.
