History

Although a small commune, Saint-Acheul is well known to archaeologists, as it gives its name to the Acheulean industry of stone tool users in Europe, Africa and Asia. Amiens (amjɛ̃ is a city and commune in northern France, 120 km north of Paris. Pas-de-Calais is a department in northern France.
