Russell Neville Joseph Gorman (born 20 July 1926) was an Australian politician. Kandos is a small town in New South Wales, Australia, in the Mid-Western Regional Council. In 1983, he was elected to the Australian House of Representatives as the Labor member for Chifley. The House of Representatives is one of the two houses (chambers of the Parliament of Australia; it is the Lower house, the Upper house being the Senate The Division of Chifley is an Australian Electoral Division in New South Wales. In 1984, he transferred to the new seat of Greenway. The Division of Greenway is an Australian Electoral Division in New South Wales. He held the seat until his retirement in 1996. [1]
