Steven William "Steve" Paterson (born 8 April 1958 in Elgin Moray) is a football manager and former Scottish He is the longest-serving current player at Caley Thistle, having made over 350 appearances for the first team since his debut in 1996 and has been an integral part of the Caley Thistle team for several years. Tokely's most notable achievements include playing for Scotland at under-18 level and scoring for Caley Thistle during the team's 3-1 Scottish Cup defeat of Hearts, his boyhood favourites, in January 2002

Tokely won both the Caley Thistle fans and players' player of the year award for Caley thistle's first SPL season.
