The Romford Raiders are an ice hockey team based at the Romford Ice Arena in Romford in the London Borough of Havering in East London, England. The English Premier Ice Hockey League commonly abbreviated to EPIHL is a senior Ice Hockey league in England, and is run and administered by the English Artistic Gymnastics World Artistic Gymnastics Championships: Men's all-around champion Dmitry Bilozerchev, USSR Romford Ice Arena is a sports venue located in Romford, Havering, England. History
The club was founded in 1987 and coached by Gord Jeffrey, who went on to become a hero amongst the Romford fans. Some of the best-known players to play for the Raiders include Rob Stewart, Dave Whistle and Mike Ellis, all of whom went on to play and coach at the highest levels in the UK.
Romford's first ever match was played on 13th September 1987, against Oxford City Stars. The Oxford City Stars are an Ice hockey team based in Oxford, England.
