Robert Carl is an American composer born in 1954. The Hartt School is a school of performing arts located in West Hartford Connecticut, primarily providing postsecondary programs in music dance and theatre The University of Hartford, often called UHA or UHart, was founded in 1877 and is a private independent and nonsectarian [1] [2]

He received his B. A. from Yale College, M. A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his Ph.
