Richard Woodruff (1784 &ndash 1872 was a merchant and political figure in Upper Canada. The Province of Upper Canada (French Province du Haut-Canada) was a British colony located in what is now the southern portion of the Province of Ontario Big Boy is a restaurant chain started in 1936 by Bob Wian in Glendale California, as Bob's Big Boy.
