Crenna was born in Los Angeles, California, the son of Edith J. Los Angeles (lɑˈsændʒələs los ˈaŋxeles in Spanish) is the largest City in the state of California and the American West (née Pollette), who managed a hotel, and Domenick Anthony Crenna, a pharmacist.
