Repeat Records is an independent record label, fanzine and music promoter based in Cambridge, UK. R*E*P*E*A*T fanzine was started in 1994 by Cambridge schoolteacher Richard Rose. This is a list of notable events in music that took place in the year 1994. The fanzine began as a homage to the Manic Street Preachers, but it quickly grew to also include articles about the local and national music scene, socialist issues and other general rants and opinions in subsequent issues. Manic Street Preachers (often known colloquially as the " Manics " or " MSP " are a Welsh rock band consisting of James Socialism refers to a broad set of economic theories of social organization advocating state or collective ownership and administration of the Means of production and distribution After a few years the fanzine enjoyed one of the largest print runs in the country and is still admired today.

The fanzine later grew into music promotion and has released records by such bands as Miss Black America, The Dawn Parade, Chris TT among others. Miss Black America (MBA was a rock band based in Suffolk England. The Dawn Parade were a British rock band from Bury St Edmunds formed in 2000 Chris T-T is an English singer/songwriter based in London and Brighton. The label is also due to release the 2nd album from one of the UK's most misunderstood bands Johnny Panic in November 2007.
