History
Rebecca is the daughter of Alan Napier (Barry Friedlander), and has recently been revealed to be the biological mother of Oliver Barnes (David Hoflin). Oliver Barnes is a Fictional character in the Australian Soap opera Neighbours. David Hoflin dɑːvɨd (born February 25 1979) is a Swedish -born Australian Actor. Rebecca and Oliver met in mid-July, 2007, but after a short conversation an emotional Rebecca walked out, making it clear she did not want to see Oliver again. Granddaughter
Chloe Cammeniti-Barnes, Rebecca's granddaughter, was born on 21st January 2008. She is suffering from Respratory Distress Syndrome as she was born premature and her lungs are not fully developed. After Oliver her son filed for full custody of Chloe, Carmella, Marco and Oliver have been at heads but Rebecca has calmed down Oliver and Carmella so they can at least have a decent conversation. Rebecca was named the peace maker between the two.
Paul's Affair
Recently Rebecca's partner Paul has been having an affair with Kirsten Gannon (Nikola Dubois) behind her back, however she is yet to find out about it. Kirsten Gannon is a fictional recurring character on the soap Neighbours. Elle has found out and had every intention of telling her but, once she saw how happy Rebecca was she changed her mind. The question now is; will Rebecca ever find out?.
Engagment
After cheating on Rebecca, Paul asked her to marry him, and she has said yes. Though after the engagement, Rebecca asked Paul to help her by sorting out the mail at the office, but while doing this he came across a letter that was meant for Rebecca showing her pictures of Paul and Kirsten together but when Paul opened it he took them and made sure that she would not see them. He has asked Kirsten and Elle but it was clear it was not them. They are now trying to figure it out and hide the truth from Rebecca at the same time. After Lyn Scully came to town it was revealed that she was the blackmailer, but even though Rebecca has not found out. Susan tells Rebecca, and she straight away leaves him.
Personality
Rebecca is a mother figure to many Ramsay street residents. She is understanding, perceptive and has a way with words. She is extremely perceptive when it comes to feelings, like with Carmella Cammeniti and especially with Paul and his daughter Elle Robinson, who she acts as a sort of mediator for.
