Popular Library was a paperback book company established by Ned Pines in 1942, who at the time was a major pulp magazine publisher. The company existed until 1971. It also had the "Curtis Books" imprint. In 1970, the company was bought out by Fawcett Publications, who later bought by CBS in 1977, and which later sold it to Warner Communications in 1982.
