Pontins is a British holiday company founded in 1946 by Fred Pontin. Pontin's headquarters have recently been relocated to the Southport Holiday Centre, which is located in the village of Ainsdale, Merseyside. Until then the headquarters were located in the village of Eccleston, Lancashire, near Chorley. Eccleston is a village and Civil parish of the Borough of Chorley in Lancashire, England. Chorley is a Market town in Lancashire, in North West England.
