Professional career
Crous turned pro in 1977 and won the WBA cruiserweight title with a decision win over Ossie Ocasio in 1984. Osvaldo Ocasio, (born August 12, 1955) better known as Ossie Ocasio and nicknamed Jaws is a Puerto Rican who was a boxer and world He defended the belt once before losing it to Dwight Muhammad Qawi via TKO the following year. Dwight Muhammad Qawi (born January 5, 1953 in Baltimore Maryland, U Crous was down twice in the 11th round. He retired in 1987.
