Penkridge is situated in the district of South Staffordshire in the county of Staffordshire. A county is a Land area of Regional Government within a larger State. It is located between Wolverhampton approximately ten miles to the south and Stafford five miles to the north, and lies on the River Penk from which its name is derived.
