Jacoby Dakota Shaddix (born July 28, 1976, in Vacaville, California) is the lead singer of the Alternative rock band Papa Rapping (also known as emceeing, MCing, spitting, or just rhyming) is the Rhythmic spoken delivery of Rhymes wordplay and . . the rapping's gone! I don't feel like rapping. I'm just over that. . . I just want to be a rocker. It's what I wanted to be when I was a kid". [8]
Shaddix has added this remark in a recent interview: "We’re a band that tries to walk that line between metal, hardcore, punk rock and pop music, and we do our best at trying to make it all tasteful". [9]

The Paramour Sessions is the fourth major-label album by Californian rock group Papa Roach. Nu metal (sometimes named new metal or nü metal) is a musical genre that emerged in the mid 1990s which fuses influences from grunge and Alternative The lyrics "I'm taking it back to a hardcore level" may mean they're regressing to their nu metal roots. "Roses On My Grave" is the only song featuring orchestral instruments, giving it a different flavour compared to the rest of The Paramour Sessions.
