Oyem (pop. roughly 35,000) is the capital of Woleu-Ntem province in northern Gabon, lying on the N2 road and the River Ntem. Gabon (gəˈbɒn or /gaˈbõ/ in French) is a country in west central Africa sharing borders with Equatorial Guinea, Cameroon, Republic The N2 road is one of the National highways of Gabon. It connects to the north and across into Cameroon. The Ntem is a border river in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea and Gabon. It is home to an airport, a hospital and a market.
