Curriculum

The curriculum includes a full academic program and electives in fine and practical arts, business, music, and technology. Honors courses are offered in business, English, mathematics, science, social studies, and world languages. Advanced Placement Program (AP) courses are available in AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Environmental Science, AP English Language and Composition, AP Calculus, AP Statistics, AP United States Government and Politics, AP Macroeconomics, AP United States History, AP French Language, Latin, AP Spanish Language, and AP Italian Language and Culture. The Advanced Placement Program is a program that offers college level courses at High schools across the United States and Canada. Teacher recommendations are required for admission to honors and advanced placement courses.

Students may enroll in the CISCO Networking Academy and are eligible to earn certification as CISCO Certified Network Associates (CCNA). This is a highly recognized I. T. certification applicable to all fields of study. College credit is available to students who select courses designated through a partnership with University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and Seton Hall University. The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey is the state-run Health sciences institution of New Jersey and comprises eight distinct academic units the New Cooperative education and vocational-technical subjects are available in shared-time programs. Job shadowing is offered in conjunction with the School-to-Careers Program.
